Since its creation in 2009 by Zach Weiner and James Ashby, the SMBC Theater crew has delivered over 125 sketches of COMEDY GOLD and have been featured on some of the top sites on the interwebs!

Zach Weiner
Zachary Weiner is the cartoonist behind the popular webcomic Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal (smbc-comics.com). He also collaborates with Chris Jones on Captain Stupendous (captainstupendous.net) and collaborates with Chris Jones and James Ashby on Snowflakes (snowflakes-comic.com). Zach and his fiancee live in Davis, California, where he gardens, studies physics, and listens to online lectures.
James Ashby
James Sandlin Ashby graduated from Carnegie Mellon's Dramatic Writing MFA program in 2008 with first-place awards in screenwriting from the Sloan Science Fellowship and Family Friendly Programming Forum. Since 2009, he has served as the Co-Creator/ Co-Writer and Los Angeles-based Executive Producer of SMBC Theater. He is also the co-creator of Snowflakes, a children's webcomic that partnered with the American Heart Association as part of their "Be The Beat" campaign to raise awareness of CPR in elementary and middle schools.

J.P. Nickel
John-Paul "JP" Nickel is living the Hollywood dream by being both a staff writer for Syfy's hit show WAREHOUSE 13 and an actor in the SMBC Theater ensemble. An internationally award winning filmmaker and Off-Broadway playwright, JP holds a Master's in Dramatic Writing (Carnegie Mellon University) and a Bachelor's in Acting (Point Park University). Jon Brence
Jon is well-known for his work with SMBC Theater, as co-founder of Ogeeku, and for his creative product designs. As a director, his videos have been featured on College Humor, Funny or Die, G4's Attack of the Show, Break.com, Kotaku, Digg, Virgin America flights, and The Daily Wh.at to name a few. Angel Askins
Angel Askins has a real life job in post-production, a wonderful boyfriend, 2 cats, and an internet habit akin to heroin. She is most proud of the time she said penis 500 times within ear shot of her boss. You can find her writings as "CrazyCatLady" at Ogeeku.com.
Marque Franklin-Williams
When he isn"t acting in one of SMBC"s numerous sketches, Marque spends his time writing for Hand 2 Mouth, Ogeeku, and Warehouse 13. His works have received the Sloan Screenplay Award, the Family Friendly Scholarship Award and the Schubert Foundation Fellowship Award. He likes giant robots and the word "pants."
Chason Chaffin
Chason Chaffin has a BFA in Photography and Digital Media from the University of Houston. Chason Chaffin currently works in post production on television commercials and major motion pictures. Chason Chaffin will rule your world, if a healthy supply of caffeine and electronics are involved.
Jessie Lande
Jessie Lande is a Los Angeles-based actor. While a student at Yale, where she was an English major, Jessie starred in a number of plays, including Gorilla Rep's production of A Murder of Crows in New York City. She continued her training in Los Angeles, where she most recently co-starred on Lie to Me. She is currently studying improvisation at the Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade.
